Clinic Testimonials

"Our five month lab, Wolfs Diamond, suffered a broken hip and dislocated knee. Laser therapy was a GREAT pain reliever and helped make her comfortable through the aches and pains of this traumatic injury. Four months later she is in full training and is doing REMARKABLE. It was great for our older lab, Hawk, when he was suffering with a bad ear infection. He was back to himself right away. I am a firm believer in Laser Therapy."

Henry

"This is Henry. My boy is a 12 year old Black Labrador Retriever. At 6 years he tore both his cruciates (6 months apart) and underwent TPLO surgery to repair his injuries. One of the repairs became infected and although this was resolved, he developed severe, deformating arthritis in that leg. Even though his other leg has healed well, Henry puts most of his weight on that leg and as a result has developed arthritis in that knee as well. He has been on several different anti-inflammatories and pain medications since then. For his entire life, despite his pain in later years, he has walked 1 ½-2 miles a day with me and his two buddies, Sienna and CoCo. In the past two years, Henry had become more and more reclusive and although he still took his daily walks, this wore him out and he slept most of the rest of the day. The twinkle in his eyes was gone. He was in pain.

More pain medication was not realistic, so we decided to undergo Dr. Carlton's new Laser Therapy. What could we lose? After 4 sessions, Henry was clearly feeling better… he came when we called him, he started doing his 'dinner dance' (excited when feeding time came) and he started trotting on his walks. The most evidence we had that he was better came later after the end of the treatments, when someone came to the door, he got up to greet them: something he had not done in years. Since then, we have finished the therapy and now Henry asks to go out in the middle of the day, just to walk around the pond and look for frogs and fish - his most favorite thing to do. He gets up happily when its time to "go for a walk" and he actually runs for awhile. Our old Henry is back and he has a twinkle in his eyes that we thought was gone forever. He is clearly getting some pain relief from this therapy. For sure, we will be taking him for his post treatment laser in the next 2 weeks and continue to do so as long as it continues to work."
